A STREET collection in Romsey has collected more than £200 after the charity thanked residents for its kind donations.
Tenovus, on the corner of Market Place and Church Street, raised £228 after a street collection on March 31.
Manager Janet Cooper said: "Thanks for everyone who gave us money, it all helps towards a cure for cancer.
"It was a cold and wet day and we didn't think we would ever raise so much."
It comes after the charity thanked residents for their donations at the start of the year following an appeal for clothing.
