Hindus have celebrated the end of the autumn festival of Durga Puja.
Hiltingbury Community Centre in Chandler’s Ford came to life with the sound of live music, dancing, drama and the flavours of Bengal.
More than 600 people enjoyed the three-day celebration, including children from Otterbourne C of E Primary School and the Mayor of Eastleigh Malcolm Cross.
The festivities were organised by the Hampshire Puja and Cultural Association, which aims to promote diversity and community cohesion. Member Madhu Acharyya said: “It is very nice to get so many people involved this year and to have so many diverse groups.”
