A THREE-day fashion festival is happening this week in Eastleigh.

This Thursday is the start of a three-day fashion festival in the Swan Centre in Eastleigh.

The event kicks off with the opening of the brand new fashion shop H&M.

H&M is a multi national clothing store that stocks the latest fashionable clothes and accessories for ladies, men, teenagers and kids.

All the customers in the queue prior to 11am will receive a 25 per cent discount wristband which they can use throughout the day.

The festival, which that lasts until Saturday, October 15, will be full of tips and tricks to stay on trend this autumn.

Daniel Kitchen, manager of the Swan Shopping Centre, said: “H&M’s arrival further confirms Swan Centre as the fashion centre of Eastleigh and joins the other great high street named shops we already have including Bon Marche, New Look, Next, Pep&Co and TK Maxx as well as Claire’s and our sports shops JD Sports and Sports Direct.”

Over the three days there will also be fashion shows, where models will catwalk this season’s must-haves to give customers a glimpse of what’s hot.

Experts from make-up brand, No.7 will be offering free make-up tutorials, so that wannabe fashionistas can co-ordinate their make-up with their wardrobes.

H&M’s country manager for UK & Ireland, Carlos Duarte, said: “H&M are excited to be continuing our autumn season openings with the new store in Eastleigh.

"We are delighted to bring our offering of high fashion designs and quality basics, to new and existing customers, giving them the opportunity to create and reflect their own personal style.”
