FUNSEEKERS flocked to a Chandler’s Ford park for a day full of activities.
The 2018 Funtasia event saw more than 4,000 visitors make their way to Fryern Recreation Ground in what has turned out to be a record year.
Speaking to the Echo facilities manager Tomor Beqo said he was “extremely pleased” and added: “We put a lot of effort in and it went really well. The children were happy and the prices were about right.” As reported the day marked the hottest early May bank holiday on record - with visitors queuing up at ice cream vans to keep cool.
It’s the event’s sixth year and money raised goes towards local charities, with local Rotary volunteers helping out with parking.
Besides trampolining and an giant inflatable Laserquest game, there were animals to pet and a host of performances.
