SCHOOLCHILDREN got the shock of their lives when a Hollywood star wandered into their classroom accompanied by a famous ex-pupil.

They got the chance to meet Baywatch star David Hasslehoff as he joined Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills for a trip back to his old Hampshire school.

The pair – pictured with youngsters and teachers – were at Crestwood School, in Eastleigh, filming a six-part reality TV show based on Scott’s life as a follow-up to his Living With The Hoff documentary.

The teachers said David was charming and told them how much he liked the school and thought the children were well-behaved.

Head teacher Krista Carter said: “They were both lovely, signing autographs and showing an interest in what the kids were doing. I think the staff were almost as bowled over as the children.

“It was strange because the kids all know The Hoff from Britain’s Got Talent whereas the teachers all remember him from Baywatch and Knight Rider. A few of the female teachers may have swooned a little.”

Afterwards The Hoff met Scott’s mum and had a cup of tea and some cheese on toast.
