A CHARITY quiz night has raised £2,000 for the charity Hounds for Heroes.

The annual Coffin Mew Solicitors family team charity quiz saw 34 teams battle it out at Kams Palace, in Park Gate, near Fareham.

A team from Daniells Harrison chartered surveyors took first place, closely followed by a group effort of Barclays Bank and Hounds for Heroes representatives.

Hounds for Heroes provide specially trained dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK armed forces and civilian emergency services.
