HAMPSHIRE based boat company Fleming Yachts has completed its move a new head office.

Fleming Yachts has relocated from Shamrock Quay in Southampton to Swanwick Marina.

The firm said it hoped the move would position them in a prime location, right in the heart of the boating community.

The new base will be dedicated to the sales, marketing and service of all new and previously owned Fleming Yachts throughout Europe.

Its service centre will remain at Shamrock Quay.

Fleming Yachts Europe managing director David Miles said: “This expansion is an exciting development for our business and presents another step in our strategic growth.

“We already have a good worldwide client-base.

“However the great road, rail and air links will help our UK and International buyers and the beautiful location will make a great base for our new owners to keep their boats with quick access to the Solent and beyond.”

Established in 1985, Fleming Yachts prides itself on manufacturing and selling the ultimate yacht for coastal and off shore cruising.

Renowned for their distinctive classic lines, they are one of the world's most popular long range cruising motor yachts and the dedicated pilothouse, low profile, semi-displacement hull and twin engine power continues to be a signature of the Fleming model.

Founder of the company, Tony Fleming, continues to cruise the world's oceans on his personal Fleming yacht, testing new ideas and equipment to refine Fleming Yachts four models: the Fleming 55, 58, 65 and 78.
