Pedestrian hurt in car crash in town centre
A CAR and a pedestrian were involved in a collision in Ringwood town centre.
The accident is thought to have happened on a pedestrian crossing near the junction of Mansfield Road and Southampton Road.
Police said they were called to the scene at 12.03pm and South Central Ambulance Service were also sent. They said the accident involved only minor injuries.
The road was partially blocked and one nearby shop said at 12.50pm that traffic was still ‘chaotic’.
