THE Pennie Davis murder trial is set to resume today after being adjourned yesterday without any evidence being heard.
Jury members were told yesterday morning that they would be sent home for the day, with the case expected to resume today.
As previously reported, Pennie, 47, was killed on September 2 last year as she tended her horses in a field at Leygreen Farm, near Beaulieu.
A post- mortem examination revealed that the mother-of-five, from Blackfield, died from multiple stab wounds.
Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed abode, denies murder and conspiracy to murder.
Samantha Maclean, 28, of Beech Crescent, Hythe, denies conspiracy to murder. Benjamin Carr, 22, of Edward Road, Shirley, denies conspiracy to murder.
