POLICE are hunting a road rage driver after a motorcyclist was thrown off his bike and injured.

The 35-year-old from Eastleigh had been riding his Lexmoto motorbike when he became involved with a verbal dispute with a man driving a white hatchback at the Rushington Roundabout.

The biker then moved to avoid a crash with the same vehicle on the A35 and was thrown off his bike.

The car drove off, leaving the motorcyclist lying in the middle of the dual carriageway.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he was treated for several injuries including a cracked rib.

Now police are urging the white, middle-aged car driver to hand himself in.

They are also appealing for witnesses to the incident that happened at about 1.45pm on March 30.
