UPDATE: Kim Tizard was found shortly before 3.45pm this afternoon.

Hampshire Constabulary have thanked the public for their help.

ORIGINAL STORY: FEARS are growing for the safety of a woman who has gone missing from her home.

Kim Tizard, 58, was last seen at home on Challenger Place in Dibden Purlieu around 8.15am.

When her family returned at 9.20am she had gone.

She is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, medium build, with reddish dyed hair, last seen wearing black trousers and a light coloured denim jacket.

Sergeant Andy Williams said: “Kim’s family tell us she may walk with a limp and does not have access to a vehicle.

“She would have left her home on foot sometime between 8.15am and 9.20am today. Kim is known to frequent the Dibden and Hythe areas but may also have travelled via public transport to Southampton.

“I’d like to hear from anyone who has spotted her or a woman matching her description or anyone who knows where she is.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Williams at Lyndhurst police station on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
