A MAN mowing his lawn was taken to hospital after the machine ran over his foot.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was sent to Lyndhurst after the accident happened shortly before 1.30pm yesterday.
It is not known how seriously the 47-year-old casualty was injured in the accident.
But a South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said the incident was less serious than first thought, resulting in the gardener being taken to Southampton General Hospital by land ambulance
