A WOMAN has been rescued following a kitchen fire at a house in Hampshire.
Firefighters were called to a first floor property at Crawte Avenue in Holbury after a blaze involving a hob at about 2pm today.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire caused heavy smoke-logging, resulting in the woman being rescued by ladder.
Fire crews from Hardley, Hythe and Beaulieu dealt with the emergency.
