Fourteen fire engines were called to deal with blaze at a thatched cottage in the New Forest on Sunday.
Crews from Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire were called to battle the blaze at Bethany Cottage, The Common in Damerham, near Fordingbridge, at around 4pm.
Numerous suppport vehicles were also called to the scene.
The roof was completely destroyed, and the first floor and ground floor were badly damaged. Fire crews were able to salvage some of the owner's possessions.
The fire was put out at 12.22am today.
