Body found in hunt for missing dad

Daily Echo: John Dunkel John Dunkel

POLICE searching for a Hampshire dad who went missing almost two weeks ago have found a body.

Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of New Milton roofer John Dunkel, 56, have been told about the discovery and offered support.

Mr Dunkel, who had money worries, has not been seen since May 13, when he spoke to his 13-year-old son.

A police spokesman confirmed that a body had been found at an address in New Milton.

He added: “A coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be held to determine the cause of death, which is not thought to be suspicious.”

Money worries are the source of so much heartache for so many people. Please people, if you are in financial trouble, don't suffer in silence. There are organisations that can help. Thoughts are with Mr Dunkel's family and friends, and particularly his young son.
