Lucky escape as car rolls over
AN Awbridge woman had a lucky escape when her car rolled over after it crashed into a tree and road signs near Romsey.
Police say the 22-year-old was driving her Mercedes-Benz SLK along the A3090 towards the town when she lost control of the vehicle at the foot of Pauncefoot Hill. The driver received minor injuries in Saturday afternoon’s accident and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for a check over.
