POLICE have evicted residents from a Hampshire home after alleged drug use and antisocial behaviour.
The house on Stapleford Close, Romsey, is now off limits after the action former occupiers “severely affected” the quality of life of neighbours.
Magistrates issued a closure order against the house and it is a criminal offence for anyone to enter the house within the next three months.
PC Victoria Dennett said: “This closure order has been a result of successful joint working with Test Valley Borough Council and Spectrum Housing Group.
“The occupants of this address had severely affected the quality of life of those living within close proximity.
“Our aim is to prevent this from happening, reduce demand and to protect vulnerable people.
“This order has achieved this.”
