The burglars struck at the house in Hulles Way, North Baddesley between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday.
They entered the property through its rear doors, damaging them as they forced them open.
They then stole jewellery including necklaces, pendants, earrings and watches.
Hampshire police are investigating, and PC Ella Knight from the Western Investigations Team said: “This burglary was committed during daylight hours therefore I am appealing directly to anyone in the Hulles Way area to get in contact with us if they saw anything or anyone suspicious.
“The loss of this jewellery has devastated the owners. Have you been offered any jewellery recently? "Please contact us with information by calling 101 and quoting 44160121116.”
