CASH, jewellery and electrical goods have been stolen in a raid on a property in Harefield Road, in Swaythling.

Thieves gained entry to the family home by forcing open a rear kitchen window between 11.45am and 2.45pm on Friday.

The offenders then made what police called “a very untidy search of all rooms in the premises”, before taking a “large amount” of money, gold jewellery, a laptop and a Sony camera.

Police want to hear from anyone who noticed suspicious activity along Harefield Road at the time of the burglary.
