COUNCIL chiefs in Southampton have launched a fresh appeal for residents to join a panel and help influence decisions in the city.
The opinions of members of the People's Panel are used by the city council and Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group to inform how public services are run.
They take part in online surveys and polls, with the results used by both organisations before they make decisions.
There are already hundreds of residents signed up to take part in the People's Panel but the council is looking to recruit more residents.
Council leader Simon Letts said: “This is a new way for everybody who cares about Southampton to get involved in the decisions that will shape and influence our city in the future.
"I want as many people as possible to join the People’s Panel and help us make the right decisions for Southampton.”
Anyone over 18 can join the panel. Anyone interested in sign up can find out more at southamptoncitycouncil.researchfeedback.net
