FRIENDS and former classmates reminisced on the good old days when they reunited after more than half a century.
Pupils from the old Weston Park Girls School caught up on over 55 years of gossip when they gathered for a reception.
They turned out in numbers at the Pear Tree Inn, Sholing Road.
The guests were the class of 1960 at the school - which has now been renamed Chamberlayne College.
Those celebrating included 24 former classmates and former teachers Bunty Grundy and Margaret Cook.
Sandi Harvey (nee Barnett) - who was visiting from Australia - travelled the furthest to get there.
Event organiser Jean Bowden said the afternoon had been successful and very long overdue.
She said: “The afternoon was a great success and the room was filled with chatter for three hours.
“Everyone agreed to have a another reunion but we cannot wait another 55 years.”
