WHO wants to be a millionaire?

No one in Southampton so far, as the hunt for the city’s missing million pound lottery ticket continues.

The ticket for the EuroMillions was bought in the city for the draw on July 31 with the purchaser winning a guaranteed £1m and a trip to New York.

But no one has come forward yet despite the National Lottery launching an appeal for city residents to check their pockets, cars and even down the back of the sofa to see if they are the lucky winner.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. Thanks to EuroMillions Mega Friday, £1m plus a luxury New York trip would certainly be an amazing introduction to the millionaire lifestyle.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.”

The ticket carries the unique code CFS737423 and the ticket holder has until January 27, 2016 to claim their prize.

If you have the winning ticket, call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000 to claim your prize.
