Fire started at Hampshire lake
FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a blaze reported at a Hampshire lake.
A crew from Redbridge went to the Freeemantle Lake Park, in Paynes Road, where a fire had been reported at around 6.30pm on Monday.
Whoever was responsible had gone by the time firefighters arrived but there were alcohol bottles left behind.
The bonfire had burnt itself out by the time crews got there.
