DEBRIS has been thrown across a Southampton road after a crash.
The incident in Sholing, at the corner of Spring Road and Station Road, involved a white van and VW Golf and happened at about 3.50pm yesterday.
The car has been damaged considerably and was towed away and the Highways department was called to clean the road.
The two drivers involved were both unharmed.
Amanda Lees, who lives next to the junction, said: “Luckily both the drivers were unharmed.
"Both cars are write-offs, guaranteed.”
Two police cars attended the incident.
