YOUNGSTERS will be able to make miniature gardens and enjoy a host of other activities at a spring fayre.
The event will be held at the charity Mayfield Nursery Horticultural Therapy Project, at Mayfield Park in Weston Lane, on April 19 from 10am until 4pm. As part of the family day, there will be music as well as a great selection of spring bedding, shrubs, perennials, herbs, and vegetables.
There will also be hanging baskets and a new woodwork showroom. The event, which will also have a barbecue, tombola and raffle, will be raising money for the charity’s project for people with mental health problems - a plant nursery in the walled gardens just inside Mayfield Park.
Mayfield Nurseries is a social enterprise and subsidiary charity of Solent Mind, the Hampshire mental health charity.
