ROADWORKS will be carried out in Owslebury next month to stop flooding.
Recent heavy rain has caused the bottom of Hurst Lane to flood but pipes will be placed in the road to remove excess water in January.
At a parish council meeting on December 10 chairman Anthony Manship said: “The road will be closed for this work but it will be sorted. I presume any flooding between now and then will be fixed temporarily.”
