POLICE have launched an arson investigation after a Hampshire home was destroyed in a blaze.
Police believe the property, in Winchester Road, Four Marks, was deliberately set alight at around 9.20pm on Tuesday, March 3.
PC Alexander Hall, said: “The house was completely destroyed in the fire and it was fortunate that it was unoccupied at the time.
“The property is situated on a secluded lane just north off the A31 between Four Marks and Alton. I am keen to hear from witnesses who may have seen a vehicle or person around that location at the relevant time.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Hall at Basingstoke police station by calling 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
