Hampshire firefighters come to youngsters rescue - by cutting ring from his finger
FIREFIGHTERS cut free a gold ring stuck on the finger of a youth at a fire station yesterday.
The youngster was taken by a social worker to Winchester Fire Station with the ring on his middle finger.
The fire service has a special cutter with a titanium blade that did the job in seconds at around 2.30am, said watch manager Chris Roper.
