FIREFIGHTERS in Winchester tackled flooding at a Hampshire nursing home this morning.
The incident which was caused by a burst pipe happened at Brendoncare nursing home in Park Road, Winchester.
A crew and fire officer from Winchester Fire Station attended and helped prevent water getting to the electrics in the building.
A Brendoncare spokeswoman said: "‘We can confirm that there was some water damage at our Park Road Home this morning which impacted two bedrooms.
"A resident was moved to another room, the fire brigade were called as is our policy and contractors are already on site making repairs."
It happened at 5.10am and the stop call was at 5.40am.
