FIREFIGHTERS in Hampshire were called out twice overnight to deal with a bonfire which had started in the early hours of the morning.
Crews from Winchester Fire Station were sent to a house in Battery Hill in the Stanmore area of the city after reports of a house fire at about 1.30am.
They arrived to find it was a bonfire and made sure the scene was safe.
Neighbours reported smelling smoke at 6am but having been called out again the same crew discovered it was the same bonfire.
