Car overturns on major county road
The emergency services have been called to a serious accident on the A31 north of Alton.
A car travelling north left the road and overturned after it was involved in a collision with a lorry at Upper Froyle.
The car driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut free by firefighters.
Police have closed the northbound carriageway of the A31 between the Alton roundabout and a set of crossroads near the Hen and Chicken pub.
