THE Daily Echo is set to have some competition after a Southampton school launched its own newspaper.
Pupils at Bevois Town Primary School have decided to produce their own title called the Bevois Babbler, with news and views from the school community.
The team will be responsible for gathering news, editing and designing the paper for the Cedar Road school.
To get a few top tips, teacher Dan Steel invited Daily Echo reporter Sian Davies to talk to his Year 6 class.
Youngsters asked Sian a host of questions, including how difficult it was to meet deadlines, sources for stories and how to choose the best stories for the paper.
