BRAINY student Dinura Ranmandala has won a national award for his maths skills.
The 11-year-old, from Southampton, is a student at Portswood Primary School.
He has now been recognised for his hard work in the subject with a certificate and medal for high achievement.
Dinura had to pass various tests at school to achieve the recognition in his favourite lesson.
He managed to reach the bonus round cracking mathematical challenges suitable for older children.
Dinura now hopes to continue improving in the subject by practising and carrying on the subject while at Portswood Primary and said he wants to keep making his family proud by doing well at school.
