INDEPENDENT King Edward VI School saw 99 per cent of all grades handed out coming at grades A* to C, as every pupil achieved at least five high passes.
Three-quarters of the results at the school were graded A* or A.
Head teacher Julian Thould said: “We are delighted to see another set of excellent results. Our students have been well rewarded for their efforts and produced a run of grades at the highest level.
“This success represents a great deal of hard work and is a worthy tribute to the students and their teachers.”
