Teen flown to hospital after 'medical episode'
A TEENAGER was today flown to hospital by air ambulance after being taken ill in Southampton.
The 15-year-old was taken to the Southampton General Hospital after suffering a 'medical episode' in the city's Portswood area.
Crews from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed close to Portswood Road at 1.45pm to transport him there.
Two other ambulances were also called to the scene.
A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) confirmed the teenager had been conveyed to the hospital but could not disclose the nature of his condition.
