Emergency services have warned drivers after a car got swept away as it was driven through a ford.
The force of the water from a flooded stream near Ringwood in the New Forest pushed the car off the road.
It happened the driver attempted to cross the Dockens Water ford at Moyles Court.
Two fire crews from Ringwood attended the scene but by the time they arrived the driver had climbed on to the roof of his car and been rescued.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue's Ringwood station manager Kevin Morrison said:"The river was running too fast for anyone to get out. It was too dangerous."
