A MOBILE phone and jewellery were among items taken in a burglary in Winchester. 

Police say the thieves targeted a home in Woodgreen Road, Harestock, twice in December.

The first incident happened between 11.30pm on December 8 and 6am on December 9, the second happened between 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and 5am on Christmas Day.

The burglars removed items from the kitchen drawer on both occasions.
