A HAMPSHIRE MP has joined fellow MPs in backing an international campaign to get kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls home.

Caroline Dinenage, Gosport MP, has joined figures like American First Lady Michelle Obama in backing the #BringBackOurGirls campaign.

This follows the kidnapping of 276 children by Boko Haram militants last month.

Caroline is also one of 49 MPs who signed a statement condemning the crime and welcoming the work of the Government and its continued support of actions to reunite the girls with their families.

She said: “This abominable act of terrorism has sent shockwaves around the world. I am pleased to be supporting the #BringBackOurGirls campaign which has put the spotlight on women's rights to education across the world.”
