POLITICIANS will be in Hampshire today to debate issues as the countdown to the General Election continues.

A panel of well-known faces will be appearing on BBC’s Question Time, which is being filmed in Eastleigh today at an as-yet-unknown location.

They are Esther McVey, Minister of State for Employment, for the Conservatives, Diane Abbott, Labour MP for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, Tim Farron, president of the Liberal Democrats, Paul Nuttall, the deputy leader of UKIP and Amol Rajan, the editor of The Independent.

The BBC weekly political show was in the town two years ago during the run-up to the Eastleigh by-election in February 2013.
