TWO men were rescued from The Solent today after a boat sank.
The men is understood to have been on a fishing boat and it is currently unknown how it came to sink.
One was taken to Southampton General Hospital by Lee-on-Solent rescue helicopter.
Ambulance confirmed they attended Shore Road, Warsash, and took the other man to Southampton General Hospital.
Calshot Lifeboat, Hillhead Coastguard, South Central Ambulance Service and teams at Hamble Harbour were all involved in the rescue.
The ambulance service sent one ambulance officer, a rapid response team and an ambulance crew at 10.52am.
