MAINTENANCE work is scheduled to take place on a main railway route this weekend, South West Trains have confirmed.
Both lines between Bournemouth and Southampton Central will be closed all day on Saturday and Sunday for improvement.
Travellers are encouraged to take alternative routes or use a replacement fast bus service, which will operate between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
Bus journeys will run between Southampton Central and Bournemouth and also between Southampton Central and New Milton via Lymington.
A revised train service is due to run between Bournemouth and Weymouth. Beaulieu Road station and the Lymington Branch will also receive no service this weekend.
Normal train service will run between Southampton Central and London Waterloo.
