Drivers facing rush hour delays after crash shuts motorway
Motorists are facing major rush hour delays after a serious crash shut a Hampshire motorway.
Emergency services shut the M3 north bound just after 5am when a car hit the central reservation.
The accident happened about a mile north of the Winchester Services between junction nine for Winnall Roundabout and junction eight, for the A303 to Andover.
One lane of the motorway was reopened just after 6am with both carriageways reopened about 45 minutes later.
Details of the crash have not been released.
