Saints game moved for TV
Saints’ game against Everton in January has been moved for live screening on Sky Sports.
The game at St Mary’s was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 19, but has now been switched to Monday, January 21, with an 8pm kick-off.

On another i'm very pleased with this it's my sons 1st birthday on the 19th and had the ultimatum from the missus you can only go if you take him. I don't think he would enjoy Block 41 of the Northam so it would have been family section problem over thank you sky

I went to Leeds the other night - and to be honest the first 20-mins at Leeds was better than the first 20-mins against Spurs at SMS. I actually turned to a mate and said I was enjoying the game more!
You cannot blame Adkins for what happened - the players let him down. They just weren't prepared for the Leeds game - a stroll in the park seemed to be the order of the night for them. Well it certainly wasn't.
I admire Adkins taking the brunt of the criticism on the chin - and why should he risk any of the first team 48-hours after playing Spurs? If there is a recovery period demanded by a professional athlete - we should respect that. Even Chelsea and Man U has an extra 24-hours, but we were not allowed that luxury - I expect Leeds knew this too!
Just get off Nigel's back - he has enough on his plate trying to get the first team performing in The Premiership.
The problem we have is a lack of pace, our passing is slow and languid, and no one seems to be able (at the moment) to find a player looking for the ball! I don't like playing with Rickie and JayRod - one or the other. Personally I think we should play Rickie at the start and let him have 60-mins, then bring on JayRod for the last half hour.
If we do play Lee or Mayuka - we must learn to put the ball where it is required...surely they must do this is training so why not in matches?
It's a simple game, played by normal people - but why can't they (the team) change things around when all seems lost. A good team doesn't have to wait until HT for a chat with the Manager - the team should be able to re-organise/re-shape at anytime. Perhaps this is the problem - they are competent footballers skill wise, but lack intellegence?
