I think on the showing yesturday, he has been focusing on the negatives. The back four worked more as a unit and very few errors were made. No manager stood on the touch line could of done anything about the mistake made by our goalkeeper. If you were there you would of seen most of the defence shouting at Gazza that he should of put his foot through the ball and clear it, usually they just hang their heads and walk back towards the halfway line. They knew that the perfofmance up to that point was much much better and you could see the hurt they were suffering letting in that goal.

I dont know , but would imagine when they look at the video's of Saturdays games the errors are discused. But to keep on about the Negatives ,imo, will not lift the players for the weeks training ahead of the next game. Surely you guys can see the possitives in the game ?? can you not comment on those as well. We as fans knew this was not going to be easy. You dont state weather you want the manager removed ? . Myself i am all for keeping Nigel and can see the steady improvement the team have made. It's a long way from the MAN U , CHELSEA , SPURS AND EVERTONS of this league but that's the standard i believe our club will reach given time.

Spot on! The Saints fans who keep singing his name are a joke! I think they do it so they can get some attention from the national press, who usually mention that he has the backing of the fans. Nobody is saying boo him, but to praise him, for what? Not settling on a GK before the season starts, having all summer to put together a decent defense, shipping off Billy Sharp or, twice leaving Lambert on the bench. This burning desire to show,"look how faithful we are" is a little on the sad side, no?

Perhaps we appreciate a manager who has brought us so far so soon.

Also, shipping Billy Sharp off was one of his better decisions. Sharp is simply not good enough for the Premiership.

Perhaps we appreciate a manager who has brought us so far so soon.

Also, shipping Billy Sharp off was one of his better decisions. Sharp is simply not good enough for the Premiership.

With the resources Adkins had, Bagpuss would have got us back to back promotions. And the last one may not have come down to the last day of the season! Trying three GKs in the first six games shows a manger who hasn't settled on a keeper. That should have been done & dusted by the end of pre season. This weeks keeper is a twenty year old, whose experience is made up of 20 appearances for Gillingham. Now he's a Premier league goalkeeper, seriously? Poor old Clyne is twenty one and he's thrown in to play with the three stooges. How can anyone expect us not to let in a lot of goals!

Bill Sharp bought for 1.8 mill, 5 months later adios, why buy him in the first place? It's not like he was a regular starter. We had already bought Lee. Jay has potential but doesn't look ready for the Premiership, he should have been blooded slowly. And by the way Do Prado and Punchoen are also not Premiership standard, why not try to get rid of those two?

To me Adkins made SFC's bed in the pre season, if you and the rest want to lie in it, be my guest. If I do a bad job in my profession, I'm out. Because Nigel Adkins is a nice bloke he should be protected?

Our problems this season have been down to bad decisions, not injuries or bad luck. We look out of our depth. West Ham came up through the play offs, they are sixth, why? Good planning & decision making!

For one game at least, there was a definite shift in direction. It is not down to the fans of course, but in this change of direction, "together as one" means more, the result and performance were pretty good and we have every reason to feel optimistic come QPR.

Nobody is saying boo him, but to praise him, for what? This burning desire to show,"look how faithful we are" is a little on the sad side, no?

With the resources Adkins had, Bagpuss would have got us back to back promotions. And the last one may not have come down to the last day of the season! Trying three GKs in the first six games shows a manger who hasn't settled on a keeper. That should have been done & dusted by the end of pre season. This weeks keeper is a twenty year old, whose experience is made up of 20 appearances for Gillingham. Now he's a Premier league goalkeeper, seriously? Poor old Clyne is twenty one and he's thrown in to play with the three stooges. How can anyone expect us not to let in a lot of goals!

Bill Sharp bought for 1.8 mill, 5 months later adios, why buy him in the first place? It's not like he was a regular starter. We had already bought Lee. Jay has potential but doesn't look ready for the Premiership, he should have been blooded slowly. And by the way Do Prado and Punchoen are also not Premiership standard, why not try to get rid of those two?

To me Adkins made SFC's bed in the pre season, if you and the rest want to lie in it, be my guest. If I do a bad job in my profession, I'm out. Because Nigel Adkins is a nice bloke he should be protected?

Our problems this season have been down to bad decisions, not injuries or bad luck. We look out of our depth. West Ham came up through the play offs, they are sixth, why? Good planning & decision making!

If you can't see that this guy got it wrong in the summer and continues to do so, then I'd like to hear why we look out of our depth. Simple mathematics tells us that a team we finished above in the Championship, is much better equipped this year, why?

Throughout the summer, on this very site, you were all, rightly, asking for defenders to be signed. So why is Adkins given a pass for not doing that?

g) It's nobody's fault (Life in the Premier League is difficult for promoted sides. We should all take collective responsibility, address what we can and push on!)

There are a lot of interesting opinions on here but we on this site are a very small minority of supporters though it would not achieve much but it could be interesting. I am a tentative f).

- There should be no substitutions which interrupt our ascendancy - Done

For one game at least, there was a definite shift in direction. It is not down to the fans of course, but in this change of direction, "together as one" means more, the result and performance were pretty good and we have every reason to feel optimistic come QPR.

This burning desire to show,"look how faithful we are" is a little on the sad side, no?

Trying three GKs in the first six games shows a manger who hasn't settled on a keeper. That should have been done & dusted by the end of pre season. This weeks keeper is a twenty year old, whose experience is made up of 20 appearances for Gillingham. Now he's a Premier league goalkeeper, seriously? Poor old Clyne is twenty one and he's thrown in to play with the three stooges. How can anyone expect us not to let in a lot of goals!

You don't agree fair enough, but I strongly urge you to consider the possible alternatives, because despite hours of discussion on these forums, not one satisfactory alternative has been put forward, if you have a specific suggestion please enlighten us and we can follow it up and discuss it's merits, but just to come on here **** with no ideas of your own is just wasting everyones time.
