It a tough league!! pitty he did not see that at the end of last season still I am still a believer and I can see us making it as I trust NA and NC to keep us in the Prem, can we beat QPR yes I can see this being afre first away win and that will the final nail in MH if we lose then it could be NA final nail COYR,s

massive game! the two teams dont compare on paper QPR should hammer us both in terms of quality and experience some of their players have won the champions league, the premiership, Serie A and many other titles something none of our players have come close to doing! but they are not playing well this season and we must take advantage of that by getting a win on saturday! if we dont win then Adkins needs to go as were not going to survive but then again QPR will seethis as their easiest remaining game of the whole season i can see this being a draw and both managers being sacked on monday but i Maintain the faith we need those 3 points! Come on you Saints! Time to deliver

Nigel feels fresh and fit, what about the players how do they feel. If we lose this game we are gone, no manager will turn it around. I wish Gaston Ramirez can repay the money spent on him. Perhaps morally this does not sit down too well with talisman Lambert and Lallana, hence why their goal scoring has tried up.

Totally disagree wth that mate. If we lose we are not gone, we'll just be bottom with 26 games left for NA turn it around. It wont be easy but I think we'll sneak a win.

Agreed Meribel...reality dictates that any away win is a big ask right now.
My own judgement will be made early/mid December. By then, it will be up to NC to judge whether a new manager can do a better job with a treasure chest to spend in the January sales.
My money is on NA to deliver. His longevity could well be our making.
To date...I'm proud of the way our fans have backed him on matchday.

THE man behind the purchase of Fratton Park will be buying land surrounding Pompey’s stadium at the same time. The land belongs to former Pompey owner Sacha Gaydamak, who has kept hold of it since he sold the club to Sulaiman Al Fahim in 2008. But the Pompey Supporters’ Trust revealed at a press conference this afternoon that developer Stuart Robinson will be buying that land as well as Fratton Park itself.

If successful, it will be the first time since 2008 that the people who control the football club also control its car park and office space. ‘Those negotiations are happening now,’ said Ian McInnes, who will become club chairman should the PST bid to own Pompey be successful.

He also said the fight in court to buy Fratton Park from Portpin, which is the stadium’s mortgage holder, would be ‘tough’.

But he added: ‘I’m confident we’ll prevail.’

No research, just cut and paste, what worries me, is that you may have a Club, but you won't have a ground, I am not convinced that the land and the Stadium are going to be so easy to acquire, perhaps the Council could butt in make a Compulsory Purchase order, this story could run and run. I am just glad that I am not involved.

To be honest we are just happy to have survived near extinction, it would be churlish to bite the hands that feed you. You could hardly describe the late Markus Liebherr as a greedy owner or a chancer, the same goes for Nicola Cortese despite the blackening of his character by one certain poster on here. We would rather leave the running of the Club to someone that knows what they are doing than put it into the hands of a bunch of enthusiastic amateurs.

yes if PST had not formed a few years ago we would have been liquidated and with some way to go but we are alive .
Saints should start one up to safe guard their future you were in a similer situation a few years ago your not immune .

Well not quite yet.
First they have to get the money in, then they have to buy the ground, then they have to persuade all the loanees and monthly contracts to sign up for a club that doesn't particularly like paying regularly or have any real belief in contracts.
We have quite a nice ground and the prices are in line with most of the clubs in the division we are in.
You have a sh!t ground and the prices are in line with some of the clubs of the division you are in.
The people who will own your club are mostly people who are already rich and 1200 or so others.
Why are there only 1200 Pompey fans who think it worth their while to invest????

we have 2000+ pledges with more to come . Owners dont want to bank roll clubs for success only profit you will never achieve any honurs while your owners dont invest look what happening you will get relegated and all your players will be sold for profit and parachute payments pocketed and a make shift team team to try and achieve promotion again start a trust now before its to late .

THE man behind the purchase of Fratton Park will be buying land surrounding Pompey’s stadium at the same time. The land belongs to former Pompey owner Sacha Gaydamak, who has kept hold of it since he sold the club to Sulaiman Al Fahim in 2008. But the Pompey Supporters’ Trust revealed at a press conference this afternoon that developer Stuart Robinson will be buying that land as well as Fratton Park itself.

If successful, it will be the first time since 2008 that the people who control the football club also control its car park and office space. ‘Those negotiations are happening now,’ said Ian McInnes, who will become club chairman should the PST bid to own Pompey be successful.

He also said the fight in court to buy Fratton Park from Portpin, which is the stadium’s mortgage holder, would be ‘tough’.

But he added: ‘I’m confident we’ll prevail.’

You mock pompey some of you and have no vision or desire to change things for the better for Saints perhaps you all have tunnel vision and thats why saints have not won any thing worth while to talk about .

No research, just cut and paste, what worries me, is that you may have a Club, but you won't have a ground, I am not convinced that the land and the Stadium are going to be so easy to acquire, perhaps the Council could butt in make a Compulsory Purchase order, this story could run and run. I am just glad that I am not involved.

yes if PST had not formed a few years ago we would have been liquidated and with some way to go but we are alive .
Saints should start one up to safe guard their future you were in a similer situation a few years ago your not immune .

If you are a Saints fan subscribe to Player, Nigel tells you everything you want to know on there, he says that apart from a couple of returnees from the Internationals which have to be checked, only Frazer and Chappers are not available through injury. but fans do have a say! you could have not gone to games back when you had all sorts of arabs and BC taking money out of the club, but no you were happy to buy the cup! 1/4mill turned up at southsea to cheer the cup home, how many of them have pledged? when saints was being run poorly and we had a chairman/owner that the fans did not like or trust, we the fans made our point by not going to games, and those that did go made themselves heard at the games!
fans can affect change. if saints started to bring in over priced players on wages that we knew we could not afford, then the saints fans would make their voices heard! i (and i think many others) would rather bounce along the bottom and just survive (are you listening thebooooorer) than chase glory for a couple of years and end up paying the price! the main difference between saints and poopey though is that we have the infrastructure, the training ground is ours, the academy is ours, the ground is ours oh and our owners have genuine honest money.
you have to accept though that if you do manage to buy the club (have you pledged) you will never be a top flight club again! you as a club will start with more debt and do you trust a property developer owning the ground? you have ex players that still want paying, king kanu is suing for his money as is sol c. BC wont take your offer and even if you could convince a judge that a legally binding charge should become null and void he wont stop there, more courts will be involved pushing costs higher and higher. i said months ago and still think the same, you should have let the club go and started again, without debt, but your fans wanted to keep the history of the club! yes i read it on the fews, a poster asked if you started again would you keep the history, your love of your history will be the end of your club.

This is just the first step in a long, protracted court battle. PKF have no interested in resolving things sooner (if they had they would have moved things on long ago)
BC stands to lose 15mil if the PST get their way - you think he is honestly going to step aside and let that go without a fight? not a chance! and besides I really do think you should listen to what he is saying. The PST are doing this on a hope and a prayer and if you think that you will have any more say in what happens to your team than a fan of any other club in the country - you really are delusional.
BC didn't get rich by being stupid - he's a business man and he knows what he is talking about.
I would be really really worried about a PST taking over the club. They might talk a good fight but you do wonder what deals are being struck behind closed doors.

yes but barca have 80.to 100.000 fans .thats your cheating status days over .we own our club but have support from honest rich people .that you have never found on your shores a 32 million built stadium in 19.99 now worth a lot of money .a upgrade due to 44.000 to 48.000 brand new state of the art training ground .a fantstic infrastruture,if saints fans needed to buy there club .it least in league one 24.000 turnt up support the team not 10.000.6.000 have gone missing now .if they want to buy the club ,how about supporting them in the games .even in the premiership it was 3000 short of capacity including away fans full allocation .works out about 14.000 home fans .so its hardly worth building a 30.000 stadium there you would never fill it up.afc wimbledon fans own there club as well .that got more loyal fans than you have

Guys, I think you’re missing a trick by not registering your club as a charity. Maybe some sort of benefit pop concert could be held. Somehow I don’t see Geldoff, Queen and Sting putting in an appearance. But maybe the little man with the hat & the mallet from 80s kids tv could be persuaded to host the retched event, subject to a small nominal fee, get Harry to negotiate that one.
