i thought shaw was great for both the last 2 games, strong hasnt buckled under pressure and looks to have good control.

on another note i do love the way the wums get all defensive and aggressive and start name calling, whilst they are having a dig at the regular posters on here. what they dont understand is that we all have different views and would all pick different teams and tactics, however we can debate these issues sensibly, with humour, but without namecalling or getting aggressive. the 1 thing that we do have in common is that we love saints and will defend our team against people who have no respect for our squad or manager or chairman. there is 1 who posts here saying that you cant say anything against NA or the kangaroo court will have a go at you, well anyone can say he has picked the wrong players or tactics or even got subs wrong, fine debate it, but just to tack the p out of him for a poor picture is just juvenile and quite sad. i have never known any saints fan who would do this, to pretend that you go to games is so sad as its easy to find you out! 1 wum couldnt even research season tickit prices, another didnt even know about fireworks at an away game. your attempts and wind ups are as rubbish as your lives. next time you look in the mirror take a good long hard look and say to yourself " what has my life come to, shouldnt i be out meeting people and enjoying the company of real people, or should i continue to pretend to be something i am not, to try to annoy football fans?" i wont call you poopey fans because i dont even think you are football fans! poopey fans would an do make themselves known, and to be honest i respect them for that! i dont care if you call me names, water of a ducks back, i just think you need to grow up. your not around in this world for long so make the most of it! you never know you might even find a girl who likes you!
Agree mate , I don't think they are skates, just fookn tw'ts. (is there a difference!) Don't mind BWR, he's obviously one of the blue few as was Nomoreglory and it's quite funny banter but the others are just wums. I don't reply to them and not even a ssshhh cos they deem that as a reply I'm sure!
As for the kangaroo court - I haven't had a hard time for my views , some need to learn to put their opinions forward in an objective and reasoned way, then they may be heard. Across the board I've found my fellow Saints fans to be respectful as I am (excluding Tebourba of course who deserves every thing he gets!!)
(NC is to blame for that comment!)

Luke Shaw though - top top top top draw!!

Rickie Lambert says Southampton goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga doesn't need to apologise for his error in 1-1 draw with Norwich

Lambert: No need for Gazzaniga apology

Saints striker Rickie Lambert said there was no need for goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga to apologise to his teammates following his blunder against Norwich.

Gazzaniga allowed a tame free-kick from Robert Snodgrass to sneak by him at the near post last night, handing the Canaries a 1-1 draw at St Mary’s.

Lambert, who had given the home side the lead, revealed that the 20-year-old cut a dejected figure in the dressing room after the match.

“He didn’t have to apologise to us,” said Lambert. “You could see he was disappointed.

“He has done really well the last few weeks and it was a just little lapse in concentration.

“He is more disappointed than us and these things happen. It is how you respond to it.”

The draw meant that Saints extended their unbeaten Premier League run to four matches.

However, they have also slipped back into the relegation zone.

Lambert admitted he was frustrated that the team had failed to seize the opportunity to win a third consecutive game.

“I am definitely frustrated not to get the three points,” said Lambert, whose goal marked his sixth strike of the season.

“I thought we played really well in the first half and I thought we were definitely going to win it.

“We’ve come in disappointed at half-time and felt we could have pushed on in the second half.

“We haven’t managed to do that so, yeah, I am disappointed.”
