Adam Lallana
Nigel Adkins has confirmed that Adam Lallana will miss the game with Arsenal.
As reported by the Daily Echo, the midfielder will sit out the festive schedule and beyond after damaging knee ligaments against Reading.
Right-back Nathaniel Clyne is a doubt with a knee complaint that forced him to miss Saturday's 3-3 draw at Stoke.

Big test tomorrow - I guess would settle for a draw, but a win would be fantastic against our old boys!
Good-bye 2012 and a fantastic time to be a Saints fan regardless of where we sit in The Premier League - and here's to 2013 with hope to keep us up in The Premiership!

On the point of a replacement for Adam, I think we should sign Siaka Tiene from PSG, he is not playing regularly, and is quite cheap. I think he would be a great signing either as a back-up or starting.

Adkins makes some strange decisions what with Guly etc, 9 out of 10 times would be probably released to a league 1 side at best!

I can see 3 new signings in this Jan window, maybe 1 centre back, and a winger. and Hooper maybe?
we need another star striker. who already does the business somewhere, Berbatov type! im not keen on mayuka, he offered nothing in the last match.

In my opinion Adkins should clear out anyone he won't play ie De-Ridder, Lee,
