Fox left out of Scotland squad

DANNY Fox has been left out of Gordon Strachan’s first Scotland squad for the friendly against Estonia at Pittodrie on February 6.

Fox last night was handed his first Premier League start by Saints since early November.

Squad: Gilks (Blackpool), Marshall (Cardiff), McGregor (Besiktas); Bardsley (Sunderland), Berra (Wolves), Caldwell (Wigan), Hanley (Blackburn), Hutton (Real Mallorca), Martin (Norwich), Mulgrew (Celtic), Wallace (Rangers), Webster (Hearts); Adam (Stoke), Brown (Celtic), Burke (Birmingham), Commons (Celtic), Forrest (Celtic), McArthur (Wigan), Morrison (West Brom), Phillips (Blackpool), Snodgrass (Norwich); Fletcher (Sunderland), McCormack (Leeds), Mackie (QPR), Maloney (Wigan), Miller (Vancouver Whitecaps), Naismith (Everton), Rhodes (Blackburn).

Danny is a determined player who loves getting forward but unfortunately lets himself down with a few mistakes that make him quite unpopular with many Saints fans. It's not for want of trying and I'm glad he's a Saint.. all the GWSs in the world won't gonna make a decent team of Scotland. Lol hate to say the same is true of England until they change the set up from the top.

Totally agree great going forward but suspect at the back.. I like theFOX'S attitude so im glad he stayed at S.M.S
