I RECENTLY picked up a lost purse containing bank cards, prepaid gas card, prepaid TV Licence card, money, loads of valid vouchers etc.
Luckily there was an address within and after obtaining valid evidence the purse was returned to the rightful owner within two days. Needless to say the owner was very grateful.
Unfortunately, on the day I found the purse, I lost my bus pass within the five-minute walk from the bus stop to my home. I have enquired at all the hopeful places where I felt it may have been handed into but to no avail.
If the finder is using the pass fraudulently then shame on them, meanwhile, my 73-year-old legs are taking the strain so I have had to pay the necessary £10 fee to obtain a replacement pass.
