FOLLAND Sports have been docked three Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division points.
The Planemakers unwittingly fielded skipper Jamie Barron, right, while under suspension in their 2-0 win over Lymington Town on November 2.
Manager Danny Bowers took the punishment on the chin, admitting: “Our secretary’s made a massive mistake. He didn’t think Jamie was suspended.
“It’s just one of those things, but it’s gutting for us because we’ve been doing so well.”
Under the new rules voted in by SWL clubs, the result stands but no one gets the points.
“We’re not allowed to replay the game and Lymington won’t get the points either,” said Bowers.
